Odyssey Climbing Team Tryouts

TRYOUTS ARE REQUIRED TO JOIN COMP TEAM! There are TWO (2) tryout dates - one in Green Bay and one in Appleton. Climbers interested in climbing for one of Odyssey's Comp Teams MUST attend one of the tryout dates. The tryout dates are:

Odyssey Climbing Team (OCT) is the premier youth climbing program in Northeast Wisconsin. We believe in the power of climbing to help climbers build confidence, responsibility and humility through self-discovery, teamwork and grit. OCT provides elite training and support for athletes in Northeast Wisconsin to compete in the USAC youth climbing circuit.

Climbers who attend tryouts will be contacted via email by the following Monday with information about the team they were placed on, the practice schedule and billing information. Climbers can move between teams during the climbing season at the Coaching Teams discretion. Climbers will be sorted into one of the following teams based on their coaches assessment.

• Advanced Competitive Team 
• Competitive Team
• Summit Team III 
• Summit Team II 
• Summit Team I 

Important Note:

• Odyssey only has one competitive team and one advanced competitive team. These two teams practice at both locations every week, Green Bay AND Appleton.
• Each Odyssey gym location has their own Summit Teams. Summit Teams only practice at their home gym location, Green Bay OR Appleton.
