Basic Scout Package + Belay lesson

The Basic Scout Package + Belay Lesson givse your troops a great foundation for climbing. This event is for climbers ages 10 and older. During the event, instructors will teach your climbers:

1. How to prepare for an indoor climbing trip vs. How to prepare for an outdoor climbing trip.

2. The gear your climbers will be using during the event, and how to put their own gear on.

3. How to use the autobelays in the gym

4. How to Tie in using the figure 8 follow through.

5. How to Top Rope Belay

Climbers will spend the rest of the event time climbing with their friends!
